The OptiTorque Technologies 10398 TorqueMaster 14mm Head Stud Kit is a must have on your performance built Dodge Ram 5.9L or 6.7L Diesel. OptiTorque's multiple grades of material ensure each customer has a solution for a variety of applications. Studs and bolts are produced from the finest quality domestically melted premium steels. The oversized steel bars are further cold-worked to increase mechanical properties and remove any surface impurities. The fasteners are heat treated with a proprietary process, unique from the automotive, commercial, and aerospace industries allowing each fastener the ability to achieve higher tensile strengths without sacrificing toughness. Fasteners are centerless ground to ensure concentricity and any surface defects from heat treating are removed. Threads are roll formed on the fastener in the hardened state. Once threaded, the fasteners are stress-relieved, deburred, and plated or polished prior to meeting each customer's packaging requirements.
