One of the perks of using turbo heat blankets is that they help keep under hood temperatures in check, ensuring that hoses, wires, paint, and anything else under the hood that may be sensitive to heat are protected. Additionally, these blankets aid in maintaining cooler engine bay temperatures, which helps to reduce charge air temperatures by preventing heat from entering the intercooler piping. This not only results in lower EGTs and faster turbo spooling but also provides more power and improved engine efficiency. Thanks to PPE's Blankets, heat energy is kept in the exhaust side of the turbo, reducing turbo lag and preventing it from radiating into the engine bay.
