The factory crankcase ventilation system constantly dumps oil vapors and hydrocarbons into the air intake, where they mix with EGR gases and coat the intercooler, intake manifold, and valves with sticky carbon. This separation kit captures that contamination before it reaches the intake, keeping the manifold clean and protecting intake valves from premature fouling.
- High-grade A356.0-T6 heat-treated cast aluminum alloy
- Increases fluid capacity by 4 quarts, which also lowers fluid temperature
- 3/4" external fins improve heat dissipation, lower transmission fluid temperature, and increase strength
- 5/8" internal baffles further improve heat dissipation & reduce the fluid sloshing effect
- High-power Neodymium magnet-equipped 304 stainless steel drain plug with Viton O-ring
- Tapped and plugged a 1/8" NPT port for an optional fluid temperature sensor
- Gussets provide extra support to the top flange and increase overall robustness
- Compatible with OEM gasket
