- Overview
Many common issues to the 7.3L's can be blamed on a poorly functioning IDM. A faulty IDM will cause serious injector firing issues that lead to hard starts, rough idle, excessive smoke, poor performance, and lack of fuel economy. Alliant completely rebuilds these units to bring them back to factory spec and thoroughly tests them to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
